The Lycée's need-based financial aid program is essential to upholding our mission to prepare students of many origins to be thinkers, innovators and leaders.
We believe that a Lycée education should be accessible to families from a wide range of backgrounds. That’s why we’ve more than doubled our financial aid budget in recent years—to ensure cost is not a barrier for families with demonstrated need.
For the 2025–2026 school year, the Lycée has committed $7.1 million in financial aid. These funds are made possible through our endowment and the generosity of our donors.
Who can apply? Financial aid is available to students of all nationalities. French citizens may also be eligible for support through the French Government (scroll down for more details).
How does it work? Families must apply for financial aid each year. Applications are submitted to Clarity, the Lycée's Financial Aid tool, and reviewed confidentially by the Lycée Financial Aid Committee. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need.
Already enrolled? If you’re a current family who has previously applied for aid, please visit the Financial Aid tile on MyLycée for deadlines and application instructions.
We encourage all families to explore the possibility of financial assistance. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions—we’re here to help.

Lycée Financial Aid
We know that choosing a school is a significant decision for families—and one that often comes with financial considerations. If you're considering applying for financial aid, we encourage you to do so. The process is confidential, thoughtful, and designed to help us understand your family’s unique circumstances.
If your child is a French citizen and is registered with the French Consulate in New York, your family may be eligible for financial aid from the French Government.
