The Financial Aid Application Process

The Lycée partners with Clarity, a trusted, independent service that reviews financial aid applications and helps us assess demonstrated need fairly and consistently.

To be considered for financial aid, you’ll need to submit a complete application, with all required documents uploaded (as listed below), through Clarity

For French Citizens: If you're applying for financial aid and hold French citizenship, you must also apply for French Government Financial Aid. Be sure to do this early, following the French Government’s timeline.

What You'll Need

To help us get a full picture of your family's financial situation, you must upload each of the following to the Clarity site:
  • Your financial aid cover letter (explaining need for aid)
  • Most recent tax return(s), including all schedules
  • W-2s, 1099s, and/or documents proving any non-taxable income
  • Special tax documents (for business owners or self-employed individuals)
  • Most Recent Monthly Bank Statements
  • Information about rent or mortgage payments
  • Estimates of other financial obligations or income (e.g., loans, child support, government assistance)

What Happens After You Apply

  • If anything is missing, Clarity may reach out to clarify or request more information.
  • Once complete, your application is reviewed based on a moderate standard of living, taking into account your family’s income, expenses, assets, and debts.
  • It may take 4 to 8 weeks to process your application.
  • We may request a brief interview to better understand your specific circumstances.
  • Financial aid decisions are shared at the same time as admissions decisions.
