Why Give to the Lycée?
As an independent private school, the Lycée receives no government funding. Beyond tuition and extracurricular fees, our annual operating revenue depends on the philanthropic support of our community members.
The donations we receive are vital. They ensure the continued excellence of the Lycée’s academic programs and faculty, while also allowing us to offer financial assistance to families, keeping our school accessible and open to all.
A school in the world, of the world, and for the world, the Lycée is defined by the solidarity of its community. Together, we’ll prepare today’s children to become the thinkers, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.
You can support the Lycée in two main ways: by making a gift to the Annual Fund and/or participating in the annual Gala. You can also make special donations to support a capital project, an educational program, or our endowment fund.
The Annual Fund: A Shared Commitment
Your donations to the Lycée’s Annual Fund enable the school to support a wide range of impactful projects based on our community’s needs.
The fund helps pay for extracurricular activities that enrich student learning, campus maintenance and improvements, and financial aid that ensures socioeconomic diversity. In our classrooms, a variety of perspectives enriches discussions, deepens understanding, and encourages every student to develop a more critical and empathetic mind.
The Gala: An Evening for the Future
Each year, the Lycée hosts a major charity gala for the school. Organized in collaboration with volunteer co-chairs from our parent community, the annual Gala raises additional funds for our financial aid program, cultural events, and partnerships with leading scientific organizations in New York, among other initiatives.

Terminale Class Gift: Graduating Students Make a Mark
Every year, in collaboration with the Lycée Development Team, Grade 12 students leave a legacy for the next generation with a class gift.
These gifts support projects chosen directly by the students, reflecting their gratitude and solidarity leaving the Lycée. For instance, the Class of 2024’s gift allowed for the installation of accessible bleachers in our main gymnasium.
