A Global Community
Our faculty and staff come from around the world, united by a shared commitment to international education, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and a belief in preparing students to engage thoughtfully in the world. More than a school, the Lycée is a multicultural community where diverse perspectives and languages are deeply valued.
Our Human Resources team works closely with faculty and staff to ensure that every member of the Lycée community feels supported throughout their professional journey. From recruitment and onboarding to professional development and wellbeing initiatives, we foster an environment where employees feel supported, inspired, and connected.
My first week was intense but incredibly valuable—it gave me insight into the Lycée’s key priorities, both technological and philosophical, and the opportunity to connect with new colleagues. I was especially struck by how engaged, knowledgeable, and welcoming everyone was.
Integration & Professional Growth
Joining the Lycée often involves a significant professional and personal transition, particularly for those arriving from abroad. We provide a structured support system to facilitate this integration.
- Expatriation and Relocation: Comprehensive assistance with visa processing and housing logistics is provided, including a settling-in allowance (prime d’installation) for staff joining from outside the Tri-State area.
- Orientation Week: A dedicated onboarding period allows new hires to meet the leadership team, explore our state-of-the-art campus, and dive into the Lycée’s pedagogical philosophy.
- Professional Integration: Seminars led by legal experts on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, workplace professionalism, and boundaries training, help international staff in navigating the nuances of the American professional environment.
Continuous growth is a pillar of our institutional mission. Through La Passerelle, the Lycée’s institute for bilingual teaching, research and innovation, we provide the resources necessary for an enriching, sustained career at the Lycée, including peer-based support and mentoring programs specifically designed to assist teaching faculty in their professional practice.
In alignment with the Lycee’s bilingual identity, we also provide opportunities for faculty and staff to deepen their linguistic and cultural competencies. We offer language courses across three levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) in French, English, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic.
