The Preschool program at the Lycée Français de New York offers a vibrant, bilingual experience in a nurturing setting. Preschool Admissions Criteria
For entry into the Lycée in Fall 2026:
- Children born in 2023 are eligible for Nursery and must be toilet-trained by the first day of school.
- Children born in 2022 are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten.
- Children born in 2021 are eligible for Kindergarten.
- Children born in 2020 are eligible for First Grade. Learn more.
All families interested in a bilingual French-American education are encouraged to apply.
Admission Process
- Applications must be submitted through our online application portal, and a non-refundable application fee of $200 is required.
- If your child is accepted, we will request that you return a signed contract and a non-refundable tuition deposit within 7 calendar days of receiving your acceptance letter.

Our annual Open House is an opportunity to tour the campus with our admissions team and our students. We also host webinars on a variety of topics, from our Preschool program to Financial Aid.
