French Government Financial Aid

To be eligible to apply to French Government financial aid, your child must:

• Hold French nationality
• Be registered with the French Consulate in New York
• Read the French Government Financial Aid FAQ.

• Visit the French Consulate website for the French Government financial aid application and instructions.
• Complete your application and request an in-person appointment with the Consulate to formally submit your application in person by the deadline.

Important: French families must complete applications for both French Government (if eligible) and Lycée Financial Aid at the same time.

The Lycée Financial Aid Committee cannot finalize its review until the school receives an official decision (award or rejection) from the French Government.

Once your application has been processed by the French Government, you will receive a formal decision letter:

• If approved, the letter will specify the amount of aid awarded.
• If denied, the letter will provide the reason.

Please share a copy of the decision letter to the Lycée in order to be eligible for Lycée Financial Aid review.
