French Language Playgroup
Here's a joyful new way to discover French language and culture through play, from a global leader in French teaching and learning.
Welcome to Le Samedi des Tout Petits,
a new Saturday morning French-language playgroup for toddlers and the essential grown-ups in their life. Toddlers and a parent-guardian or caregiver are invited to join us together on Saturday mornings right here at Lycée Français de New York (75th Street and York Avenue). This program is open to all families. No previous knowledge of French is needed. Classes are small. Book early to secure your spot!

Toddlers learn French naturally and intuitively. By learning French in a playful and engaging environment, toddlers not only build their language skills, but can also improve their cognitive abilities, boost their confidence, and prepare them for interacting with peers in a group setting!
Le Samedi des Tout Petits is:
- Led by a certified French Preschool instructor and an assistant from the Lycée Français de New York
- For toddlers ages 1.5 to 4 yrs and a parent-guardian or caregiver
What you can expect:
- Adult-child activities, including art, movement, music, and games in French
- Maximum 10 parent-guardian & child pairs per class
- One adult must accompany each child
- Previous knowledge of French is not required
A great start to the weekend…
- Enjoy family bonding time for grown-ups and their youngest children
- Build familiarity with the French language
- Learn about French culture
- Make new friends (children and adults included!)
- Prepare early for Preschool life, with a focus on interaction and socialization

Schedule of sessions and fees:
- $200, per 4-week session for each adult-child pair
- Each session lasts 4 consecutive Saturdays
- Sessions structured by level of development
- Ages 1.5 to 2.5 years (born in 2022): 9:30am to 10:15am
- Ages 2.5 to 4 years (born in 2021 or 2020): 10:30am to 11:15am

Session 2 : January 20, January 27, February 3, February 10, 2024
Session 3 : March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, 2024
Session 4 : April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, 2024
