Learning, understanding, and discovering new talents for students of the Lycée Français de New York extends far beyond the school day.
Our students are encouraged to take on new challenges and to broaden their interests through any of the 150 after-school clubs and programs offered. From pre-K to twelfth grade, our students have myriad opportunities to develop their linguistic, musical, theatrical, artistic, technological and digital acumen in an atmosphere of fun, creativity and invention.

  • After-School Childcare and Study Support

For working and busy parents, the Lycée offers an extended after-school childcare and study support program for students in pre-K to fifth grade. With activities and study time supervised by our own team of French teachers and classroom assistants, students stay from 2:30pm to 6pm in a French-language program that is terrific for our native French speaking students, and especially helpful for students in non-French speaking families.
  • Nurturing Creativity

The Lycée Français de New York is the image of the city of culture and innovation where it resides. We offer a wide variety of clubs in music, dance, theater, visual arts and culinary arts for our students in preschool through twelfth grade. Tapping the talents of our teaching staff and bringing into the school an array of professionals in music, art and theater, Lycée students nurture their passion and learn to play an instrument, to sing, to act, or do all of this in the school musical.
