At the high-school level and drawing on different cultural perspectives about diversity, through collaborative work of our U.S. and French history-geography departments, as well as French and English literature teams, each year our students work on a high-school wide special project as it relates to race, understanding ourselves and each other.

Diversity is a pillar of the school's Secondary advisory program for all sixth to twelfth graders. Throughout Secondary, students work progressively on projects to explore identity through socio-economic backgrounds, culture, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and age. This work is guided by student activities in the areas of understanding and respect of self and others, and making a difference in the lives of others. As in Primary, the program evolves to engage students more fully in the school, their community and the world around them as their schooling progresses.
