Lycée Cares

December 1, 2018, 10 am to 12 pm

Lycée Cares is an opportunity for the entire Lycée community to join together to help others, while also teaching our students the importance of giving back. For the second year in a row, the Lycée will be partnering with City Harvest, an organization that helps feed more than 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables.

A food drive will take place at the school from Monday, November 26 through Friday, November 30. During the event on December 1, the collected food will be packed into snack bags, which will be picked up by City Harvest and distributed around the city to people in need.

Last year, Lycée families packed over 1,000 snack bags, which were distributed by City Harvest at Cabrini Immigrant Services, an organization on the Lower East Side that benefits immigrant families. This year, we are doubling our goal and hope to collect enough food to assemble 2,000 snack packs!

Please sign up via the links below to donate to the food drive for Lycée Cares. Requested food and drink items are assigned by grade, to ensure that we get an even mix of items.

New this year! You may also order food items online from the Lycée Cares Amazon wish list. Add an item to your cart from the wish list and select "Lycée Cares Gift Registry Address" as the shipping address when checking out. Please ensure that items will arrive by Friday, November 30.
