  • Audio Visual and Auditorium Manager

    The Audio Visual and Auditorium Manager works autonomously and regularly exercises independent discretion and judgment over matters of significance to the Lycée.  The primary duties of the Audio Visual & Auditorium Director entail designing, implementing, and supervising the highest quality of events (student & professional shows, music, dance and theater performances, concerts, conferences & panels, movie projections, presentations,etc.) in the school's 350+ seat auditorium hosting the Lycée Français de New York Cultural Center, in collaboration with various stakeholders and with the support of the A/V assistant(s) and other staff when needed.

  • Level I Help Desk Support Technician

    The position serves the entire school community, with emphasis on Primary and Secondary schools’ Education Technology. The primary responsibility is to support students, faculty and staff in all areas of technology. The Help Desk Support Technician reports directly to the Director of Technology.

    At the Lycée, “the student is at the center of the system.”  All staff is expected to provide encouragement, offer positive reinforcement, and show respect for each student.

    All employees should truly and enthusiastically believe in the Lycée’s Mission supporting the vision of the Head of School and the Board of Trustees. The Level I Help Desk Support Technician should be a self-starting, resourceful, well organized team player with the ability to work well under pressure and to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. The ability to get along with diverse personalities is a necessary skill. All employees are strongly encouraged to work towards proficiency in both French and English languages and to develop a familiarity and understanding of the Lycée's multicultural environment.

  • Receptionist / Package Manager


    In general, the Receptionist will serve as a positive first impression of the Lycée at all times both in conduct and in presentation in accordance with the rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook, while handing the daily responsibilities with efficiency and ease. In order to accommodate certain organizational demands, the Receptionist must show flexibility in dealing with unexpected circumstances.

    The primary duty of the Package Manager is to ensure successful receipt, transfer and delivery of packages to the intended party.

  • Nurse

    The primary responsibility is to support students in all areas of their health.  The position serves the entire student population, with emphasis to daily care to students for injuries and acute illness as well as long term management of students with chronic conditions.  The nurse participate actively to develop health care plans and emergency protocols and includes the collection and review of yearly physical exam forms and immunization requirements. The Nurse reports directly to the Director of Academic Enrichment.

  • Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Head Coach

    Lycée Français de New York has the following Coaching position available

    Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Head Coach for the fall 2018 season. The season runs from 
    August 27th - October 25th. Candidate should have three years of coaching girls volleyball and be willing to teach the fundamentals of the game. They will also need to be available during the week from 3:00pm - 6:00pm for practice and matches. Please contact The Director of Athletics John Burpoe(jburpoe@lfny.org). No calls please.
