    The role of Primary Assistant/Lunch and Transportation Coordinator is to primarily ensure students’ safety at all times and enforce student rules and regulations. The Primary Assistant/Lunch and Transportation Coordinator sets an example for students, both in conduct and in presentation, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Lycée Français de New York. Reliability, punctuality, patience and understanding are essential skills for this position.
    To account for certain organizational demands, the Primary Assistant/Lunch and Transportation Coordinator must show flexibility in their schedule to address occasional unexpected circumstances during the day and attend required school meetings.

  • Personnel de service

    In general, the maintenance staff is responsible for general cleaning, set up areas for meetings and special events, distribute incoming deliveries to the appropriate locations, and participate as an active member of the security and team for the School. To account for certain organizational demands, the maintenance staff must show flexibility in her or his schedule, in order to respond to occasional unexpected circumstances during the day, and if necessary, evening and/or week-end activities (such as meetings, special events and weather emergencies) requiring their presence. Salary: $19/hr.

    Accredited by the French Department of Education, the Lycée Français de New York is a school committed to bilingual French and American education. The Lycée Français de New York seeks a Mandarin Substitute Teacher for Middle and/or High Schools from March 29 to May 1st.
     
    Required skills will include:
    • Native proficiency in Mandarin (Putonghua/simplified characters)  
    • Native or near-native proficiency in English 
    • Teaching experience (Middle and/or High school grade level preferred)
    Compensation is $110 per class period taught up to $330/day.

    We are looking for a teacher who:

    Profil de poste recherché:
    • Professionnel possédant une formation et une qualification spécialisée dans l'intervention auprès d'élèves présentant des troubles de l'adaptation, troubles du développement psycho-affectif , troubles relationnels et troubles du comportement dans la classe et dans l'école plus largement de la petite section maternelle à la fin du cycle 3.

      Les tâches attendues mais non limitées à:
    • Prise en charge individuelle ou de petits groupes d'élèves, et mise en place d'outils de remédiation favorisant entre autres le développement psycho-affectif et social de l'enfant, le développement des fonctions d'inhibition , de gestion de la frustration,  ainsi que les habiletés corporelles, motrices et de représentation spatiales et temporelles dans une visée d'adaptation à la position d'élève dans un groupe et la disponibilité aux apprentissages.

  • Director of Experiential, Service and Global Learning

    Reporting to the Director of Secondary, the Director of Experiential, Service and Global Learning is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, a comprehensive program of student co-curricular, experiential, service and global learning activities and travel in the Secondary school.
    As the Lycée continues to grow its cultural, linguistic, service learning travel and exchange program to make it part of a broader, more coherent educational and pedagogical global learning effort at the Secondary school level, the Director of Experiential, Service and Global Learning ensures that the different dimensions of the position are connected to each other and coherent with the Lycée's Secondary student journey as a whole.

    Part-time lunch/recess assistant for elementary grades- 2022-2023 School Year
    Days: Monday through Thursday from 10:15 AM to 1PM
    Fluency in French language is preferred.
    Ideal candidate has worked with children before (camp counselor, youth groups, etc...), has experience in social emotional learning. Must be punctual, reliable and energetic.
