LFNY Camps
Summer is a wonderful time for children – and for discovering the world through the Lycée Français de New York Summer Camp. Our camp is dedicated to teaching young campers to be global citizens through an active immersion in both French and American cultures and through our bilingual French and English programming.
Our summer schedule (see the brochure) offers many exciting ways for children to grow, explore, share and learn in a nurturing environment filled with like-minded friends. Lycée campers ranging in age from 2.8 to 11 years old have the opportunity to learn to speak French and English through participatory activities such as art, music, sports, swimming, science, cooking and more. Each week, the children benefit from a special event which may either take place at the Lycée or at a location in Manhattan. Some recent events have included visits to Chelsea Piers, Little Shop of Plaster, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, a theatre presentation, Art Farm in the City and I Dance Media.
Camp begins in late June and ends in late July. Registration is limited and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Families have the option to choose any or all of the weeks that the camp is open – though many of our campers stay for the full session. Camp begins at 9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
